Service Checks

In our modern well equipped service workshop we have fully factory trained technicians who are capable of meeting your requirements for service and repairs on any agricultural, groundscare or garden machinery.

We specialise in all John Deere machinery, also Countax, Hayter and Stihl professional and domestic equipment. We also carry out on-site diagnostics and repairs as well as repairs to hydraulic pipework.

FIXED PRICE SERVICE OFFER

We now offer fixed price servicing on most lawn and garden machinery.

All prices include service parts, labour and VAT.
Rotary Mowers:- upto 18" £75
Rotary Mowers:- over 18" £85
Service includes:
  • Run up and check operation. 
  • Change oil, plug and air filter. 
  • Service fuel system
  • Sharpen or replace blade
  • Clean off
  • Check blade brake/clutch
  • Check drive system
  • Check battery (if electric start)
  • Adjust carb and cables

Ride on mowers:- Petrol £225
Ride on mowers:- Diesel £255
Service includes:
  • Machine is collected
  • Run up and check operation
  • Change oil, plug and air filter
  • Service fuel system
  • Sharpen or replace blades
  • Clean off
  • Check engagement levers and drives
  • Check drive belts
  • Check battery and electrical systems
  • Grease around
  • Check tyre pressures and level deck
  • Adjust linkages
  • Return to customer



Two-stroke machines
  • Run up and check over
  • Service fuel system
  • Service air filter
  • Change plug
  • Check starter re-coil
  • Adjust running

Hand held blowers:- £50
Backpack blowers:- £60

Chainsaw:- £55
2-stroke machine service plus
  • Remove clutch drum and grease clutch bearing
  • check oilers
  • inspect and dress bar

Sharpen chain:- £10

Strimmer:- £60

  • New cord in head
  • Grease drive gear box

Hedge Trimmers:- £50

  • Lubricate cutter bar

Sharpen Blades:- £30-£45

Pull cord replacement £15
Running adjustments £15

Non-starting machines brought to us can be estimated for repair at a cost of £20.

Any non-service items can be repaired for at an additional cost. These will be estimated and will only be carried out on the customers' approval.
